Oh man, feels so good. Got to feel good for Grubs to get the shutout after all his struggles. That's redemption.

I take back calling Grubauer useless at some point...what a game from him. He looked in charge of the net all night...completely different goaltender. He was moving far better, and extremely confident in attacking shooters. Seems a few weeks of working on technicals and resetting mentally might have helped. He saved the first ~7 minutes of the third period. Nashville easily could have had two.

Huge win. Perfect back to back. Didn't like them sitting back in the third and they had some real struggles getting the puck out...and getting the puck on the Preds net, far too many blocked / missed shots / cycles, but I'll take it.

What a game for Grubauer. That's a well earned SO.

Avs weren't great but that's expected on the second half of a back to back. Grubauer bailed them out at times but they still played decent enough and capitalized on their chances.

Z has a heavy enough shot, there is no reason to think he can't score 10 goals a season.

8 goals in 83 games last season (Playoffs+Regular Season)
6 goals in 51 games this season

And he had 10 goals in 52 games in the AHL in his final season down there.

Have to give Grubs credit. I didn't expect that performance. He was outstanding in net. He showed me what he is capable of. Now would be a good time for him to step up.
