Welcome to the Jungle
A tough loss on Marchands 1000th game. I felt the effort was there and also that the better team won tonight. No major concerns but I agree plenty to work on.

Thought the power play looked pretty good at times tonight. Popping one there would have gone a long way.

The B's are just pissing away points at home with a tough 4 game road trip coming up next week

..maybe that's what they need to wake up

Thought they outplayed Tampa for the most part, Vasi just shut the door when it mattered. Marchand and Pasta both got the chance to end it in OT and missed. On to the next one.

I will say though I'm really done with Boqvist, Steen, and Richard. For the love of god just get higher upside young guys in the lineup. They can't be worse.

Am I completely off kilter in thinking that first Bolts goal shouldn’t have counted?

Play was blown dead. Classic “dead in the head” call. You can argue Mac stopped playing as well and if the whistle hadn’t been blown maybe he could’ve kept it out.

Idk I just don’t like it as we’ve seen this play out before where it wasn’t a goal. You don’t like it but that’s the human element of the game.

Much better effort outside of the terrible PP. Pastrnak has lost his mojo since his return from the Allstar game despite his 2 secondary assists. Players like Steen, Richard and Boquist are just not good enough and need to be upgraded. This game was lost on the PP, had several chances to win the game but was totally ineffective and in fact could have easily given up SH goals. At least they put in an effort tonight except for the shootout where it looked like they were in a hurry to end the game with their extremely lame attempts.

The only people more unhappy about this result than Bruins fans are Maple Leaf fans.

The Leafs have nothing to worry about, they will make the playoffs.

With the BRUINS exceptional goaltending they will be in a position to win most games. That's been their MO most of this season.
If they just play .500 hockey the rest of the way, they'll wind up with 103 points.
