- Boeser was benched/dropped down the lineup and deservedly so. Completely crap defensive effort. Zero engagement, just standing still watching opposing players walk in for scoring chances. Needs to make huge improvements. Really disappointing and has been crap without Pettersson carrying him.

Quite strong words for a player who had a multi point night.

Boeser's defensive game was not good tonight but I wouldn't go to the extremes you are to describe his game

Brock is a sniper, and doesn't have the speed to create the openings on his own. He needs a playmaker to produce at the rate he can, similar to Monahan in Calgary (without Gaudreau, Monahan isn't at 30 goal scorer.

Canucks need to add more skill in the top 6. Whether that's Dahlen or Lind or if it's from trade/free agency.

Lucky win. Team was absolutely awful, dominated in terms of possession, shots, and chances.

- Demko was very good. 2nd goal was weak but otherwise was excellent. Moved well, looked more confident as the game went on.

- Leivo had his best game as a Canuck by a mile. On one hand, impressive. On the other hand, why hasn’t he moved his feet like this at any other point?

- Tanev-Edler massive as usual. Tanev the best Canuck yet again. Eichel did nothing except when they got him out there against Gudbranson.

- Hutton - not surprisingly - suddenly looks heaps better defensively when separated from Gudbranson. Good performance for him.

- Gudbranson ... ugh. That pairing spent pretty much the entire night pinned in their zone and were dreadful aside from Pouliot’s miracle assist.

- Horvat had 2 assists and won a lot of faceoffs but isn’t skating well and had a brutal giveaway on the 2-2 goal.

- Boeser was benched/dropped down the lineup and deservedly so. Completely crap defensive effort. Zero engagement, just standing still watching opposing players walk in for scoring chances. Needs to make huge improvements. Really disappointing and has been crap without Pettersson carrying him.

- did Schaller and Granlund play?

- Sutter is just awful right now and looks to have aged 10 years from the player we saw last year. Skating horribly.

- this was a game where the team could’ve used some spark from Roussel but he was extremely quiet.

- Virtanen has been really poor since Xmas and you hoped that altercation with Skinner would get him into the game ... but not so much.
Wow about Boeser missed most of the game...And I do agree about Sutter..looks awful..how can Green even justify using him as a 2nd line center..that line is just as bad as his line up juggling...

He scored on a tap-in after a turnover (first goal on a goalie in 8 games). Obviously there is no question that he can get open and finish.

His defensive play tonight was atrocious and he was standing around watching Sabres score 2 of their goals. And Green obviously agreed as he was benched and dropped down the lineup after the 2nd one.

And this isn’t a one-off. His compete level in his own zone simply isn’t near good enough. It’s worse than Goldobin’s. And it was good to see Green give him a kick in the ass about it tonight.

Canucks have 22 wins and 27 losses and are in a playoff spot..
Colorado is 21-28, Dallas is 23-25 and are in.

Minny and Edm are 23-24 and Anaheim is 20-28 and have 2-1 games in hand on Vancouver and could surpass them.

What’s your point?
It’s how the point system works in the nhl.

Oh god, is jimbo gonna be a buyer at the deadline.
If we do become buyers, it's 100% the ownership, no doubt in my mind.
