Feel Better!

My chiropractor just canceled because he's got bronchitis...

Maybe trying to protect him, but even Bjork and Heinen can't carry the anchor they have now I'm afraid.
Nope, it's not ideal. Maybe Senyshyn coming back will move Coyle back to center. Either way, nothing is set until after the deadline so for now lets see what the kid can do.

not arguing with you Lou but suggesting, for this fan, to "protect" Studsy, I play him on the 4th line not 3rd and I also think I would go with Guance vs the Habs if only because he`s a guy with 100 games or so in the NHL and likely won`t be as susceptible to being overwhelmed.

Someone, someone please explain Lindholm to me. Seems like a guy with very limited skills...

Like Lou said, I'd rather they play Gaunce tonight.

I don't hate Kuraly, Heinen and Bjork together though... At least not yet.

I also LOVE that they're slapping Stud on the 2nd line and not handcuffing him on the 4th.
I`m a have my cake and eat it too kind of guy

On the one hand, love seeing a prospect get a fair shake

On the other hand, especially playing C, I worry that top 6 minutes might backfire but I`m "almost" convinced I don`t have my finger pulse on the kid nearly as well as the B`s do:laugh:

He is one of the best defensive centers in the NHL this season. Rarely puts his linemates in bad position. But lacks offense.

He is like an APC without a machine gun. Gets you where you want to be without trouble. But can't do any damage when he gets there.

I feel like we say the "great defensively" about half of our players before we speak about their complete and utter lack of offense.

THe point is that he is not useless. The coaching staff likes him because he does not make mistakes and is great against the other teams scoring lines.

I don't see that as a problem.

Now if he is in your top 6? Yes, thats an issue. BUT we are still in Intensive Care November so injuries push fringe players into the spotlight. Lindholm does not play if we have no injuries.

Depth is good.

Going to be tough without Bergeron. Really hope Studnicka rips it up. There's a lot riding on this kid panning out. I think he's got the goods and I think he's about ready, to be honest.

I think he is like Bjork. Will need another two seasons in the AHL to bulk up and get some confidence along with good habits born of experience. By the Time Krejci's contract is done he will be ready, IMO.

It will be interesting to see if Krejci retires or resigns for a smaller amount. He is not getting 7m again from anyone. Mostly due to his age, not his production.

The bottom 6 needs to score more than once a blue moon. The B's bottom 6 has been terrible this year with scoring.
