Was it 09-10 that Bolduc made the most creative attempt ever to secure a season's NHL cheque when he challenged John Scott for no reason and blew up his shoulder?

Haha I remember that game. Pretty sure Hordichuk got manhandled by Boogard as well. Minnesota had a hell of a goon squad that year.

Nope. Coach AV went to the finals again with the rags though

How depressing. I know here we all argue about rebuilding in 2013 and who is at fault and if we could be through a rebuild by now etc, but we could have spread our Canuck seed throughout the league.

2011 still hurts

Speaking of AV, he was fired by the Rangers.

I'd say there would be interest in a coach that went 2 finals in the past decade for sure, the Habs will definiotely be in the running for him considering he's a french-canadian and has history with them. idk if AV still wants to stay in the game though.

Has anyone from our 2011 team gone on to win anything? It's going to be sad when they're all gone with no cups.

Nope. Coach AV went to the finals again with the rags though

silver medal for ehrhoff, bronzes for raymond and max. and in the previous olympics, silver for daniel and edler, gold for hamhuis and lou. i think raymond also won a spengler cup?

garrison, av, and tanner glass are the only guys to make the finals after 2011, i think.

You really feel for the boys... they were strong and young and on top of the world in 2011... fast forward 7 years later, they are old and mostly over the hill.... Shows how short an NHL career really is.

Bieksa should catch on somewhere. Likely a one year contract or PTO. But whether he wants to extend his career in a place he doesn't want to go is another matter.

Bieksa has been terrible since 2012, love him to death but he’s been done for a while.
Yea, we had good character guys back then. I remember Bieksa's statement "I'm going down with the ship".

You look at the guys in the room now... man boring interviews. Need some character back.

Bieksa just needs to find himself a young cocky Russian to knock out in a bar parking lot to squeeze a few more seasons out of his career.

When he does retire though... I wonder if we'll get to hear the "juice" story.
