You know what, I'll just post my whole roster since I'm stuck.

C- Ramos
1B- ?
2B- Altuve
3B- Rendon
SS- Story
OF- Rosario
OF- Pham
OF- ?
Util- ?
SP- Tanaka, Corbin, Ryu, Eickhoff, ?
CL- Davis
? candidates- Edwin, P. Alonso, S. Marte, Eaton, G. Polanco, J. Turner, Senzel, Chacin, G. Gonzalez
IL- Paxton

I'm going to need a cut once Paxton comes off the IL as well since this league doesn't allow healthy players on the IL.

It is a one year league with the scoring settings above.

I am thinking about offering Rosario or Marte + a starting pitcher for either Greinke or Nola. The Greinke/Nola owner has Stephen Piscotty in his lineup (and no healthy bench OF).

Okay, folks... tough decision for me.

I have Edwin, Peter Alonso, Justin Turner and Rendon for three spots. Pick one to bench in a weekly lineup lock league. It costs money to make a lineup swap, so I can't constantly play the matchups.

I'd bench Alonso.

So I'm working on this trade , Edwin Diaz for Ozzie albies. I'd be getting Albies. I see he's batting 8th now, wondering if someone can give me some insight on him as I am not a Braves fan or watch their games much.

His double pace is way down, but other than that, his fantasy numbers look similar to last year's. I haven't looked at stuff like K rate, GB rate and stuff like that.

What does the rest of your team look like?

Figured I go heavy on the save this year at our draft. I have a really good OF. Been rolling utility guys at 2B this year basically since I knew Shaw was crappy after I traded for him.
Already had one trade this year it was Stroman and Sanchez for Shaw. Can't say I won that trade right now.
Basically won saves category for the week pretty big so I'm thinking I might try and a make move this week. I'm going to look at a new 2B or SP. Trade away a closer

Josh Bell (picked him up in the last round of draft) has been doing very well for me, he's top 3 in our scoring format.
Cody Bellinger is killing it for me

And just picked up Lucas Giolito for Ross Stripling with my add/drop.

Currently tied for 1st.

Call me crazy, but I'd pass. I'd go all out to win ERA, WHIP, SV, HLD and OBP against every week. You have three elite relievers already.

My SP4 and SP5 have been a mess lately. Do I add Lynn or Giolito? Or do I put Chacin in? Pretty much W and L only... I'd be cutting either Chacin (if I don't put him in) or Eickhoff.

My top three are Tanaka, Ryu and Corbin. I have Paxton on the IL.

Also, same league... Kluber was cut (one year league). We only have five bench spots and one IL spot. When should I stash him?

Edit: I forgot I have Wade Davis in my CL spot. So Chacin and Eickhoff are going anyway. Unless I should cut Gio Gonzalez instead of Eickhoff?

I'm digging Giolito. I'm concerned about Eikhoff.

I don't know what to do with Shohei Otani. Will he contribute enough in any one category to keep him rostered in a quality 12-team league? My 5th-place-in-one-division lineup looks like this:

Ramos
Gallo
Torres
Vlad Jr
Story
Soto
Marte
Conforto
Braun
Otani
Almora Jr
La Stella
Tatis on IL

My pitching, especially RP, is pretty mediocre. But there's nothing really available at RP. I either offer Otani around or what? I suppose he will eventually out produce La Stella and/or Almora, right?

I'll get to keep three players for next season. I just don't have a real good sense of how desirable Otani is.

A utility player only really handicaps your roster. I don't think he has much (if any) trade value. I don't think he's worth having in a 12 team league depending on how many roster spots there are.

Has anybody ever punted a category, in particular saves? I'm carrying Leclerc, Alvarado and Elias, along with Pressly, who's there for peripherals. I somehow thought Leclerc and Alvarado was going to be a good tandem.

Leclerc could go, as Texas has been using him as an opener for some reason.

I don't purposely tank categories in one year leagues, but if the draft flows one way, then I usually punt saves to start off.

Question: What would you pay trade-wise for Derek Dietrich in a dynasty salary cap league? I have a win-now roster (currently have the best record in the league, and made a couple of trades already to augment) and I'd be getting him through 2021 at a $2 million salary. Do I pay current market value which I guess would be a top 100 prospect, something close to it and another one or two further off prospects? More? This could be a career year but it's a big difference playing in GAB compared to Miami and he'd probably be the last move I would have to make to shore up my lineup.

I'm more or less punting saves in the aformentioned league with Brasier likely losing his job and Ty Buttrey somehow playing second fiddle to Hansel Robles, but I can at least pile up the holds and win the other splits.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's flipped at the IRL deadline, so be careful.

Best keeper for next year: Gallo, Merrifield, Meadows, or Giolito?

It depends

Yeah I just realized he’s on a one year deal but I wasn’t exactly expecting him to keep up his current binge and his road numbers are okay. He’s probably somewhere between his Miami days (in a horrible park) and now (in a great park) which could still be useful. Incidentally it’s an OBP/Slugging league with the other counting stats (HR, RBI, runs, net steals)

I wouldn't give up a top 100 prospect for him.
