I really don't play one year leagues anymore, but if you were drafting today for next year, is Acuna or Trout the first pick?

I'm in a 2 keeper league. And wondering who I should keep next year along with Acuna

    Torres, Bichette, Hiura or Scherzer?

Is there a penalty for keeping a player (like, do you have to give up a draft pick)?

I'd probably go Scherzer since I play to win now.

I would have said Lyles... just saw this now.

    He didn't go five, though.

Yeah I picked him up. Really could've used the W. Any reason he got pulled? He had 9Ks so I'm assuming it was a pitch count thing.

Any enticing streaming options or should I just roll with what I got? I'm just worried about my Dodgers starters. I'm in the semi-finals. Hitting is a write-off for me now, I'm going to need some good hitting to pull out some categories there so pitching is important. Obviously what his guys do tonight will really push me one way or another however I'm just looking for some possible pick ups.

    Stats are:
    W: 0-1 (He's up)
    L: 0-3 (I'm up)
    K: 19-35 (He's up)
    ERA: 2.00-4.73 (I'm up)
    WHIP: 0.83-1.14 (I'm up)
    K/9: 9.50-9.74 (He's up)
    SV+H: 3-1 (I'm up)

    I have:
Kershaw @ home vs. Rockies (Friday)
Ryu @ home vs. the Rockies (Saturday)
    Cueto @ ATL (Saturday)
    Wheeler @ Cinci (Saturday)
    Buehler @ home vs. Rockies

    My opponent has:
    Heaney @ NYY (Tonight)
    Flaherty @Cubbies (Tonight)
    Ray @ SD (Sunday)
    Matz @ Cinci (Sunday)

Guys I'm looking at for tomorrow:

    Gibson @ home vs KC
    Cease @Detroit
    Felix @ Baltimore
    Merill Kelly @ SD

    Yeah, pitch count.

    I'd go with Gibson.

Apparently Gibson was pitching today... this is the second time this week Yahoo has told me a pitcher is starting the next day but was actually pitching the day of... I might pick up Kelly.

    For Saturday....

Plesac vs the Phillies or Desclafani vs the Mets (I also have Wheeler who is looking to start that game)

Yeah, I'd look extra carefully this time of year with regards to pitchers. Teams will change them at the last second depending on how other teams are doing. I didn't realize that Kay was following an opener yesterday. I streamed him for a league and got lucky.

I like the DeSclafani matchup a lot better.

I won my league by squeaking into the playoffs and defeating the top 3 teams (all this with Yelich out for the last two weeks). The key for me was picking up serviceable players on the waiver wire. Who else won their league?

I had the lead entering the final day of the season in a straight points league. It was... ummm... a high stakes league where the winner got stuff.

I blew the lead (and the drop from first to second was $413).

Finished third, didn't lose any money, didn't win any.

Tied the third place game and won on tiebreaker being the higher seed after my team tried it's hardest to blow my lead going into Sunday

SS seems really deep this year. Did a mock draft and ended up with like 4-5 of them without realizing it - was just taking the best player.

Who would you keep out of these guys. My #1 keeper is Acuna. I'd like to only keep him and just pick in the 2nd round but I may be forced to keep the 2nd guy.

Need some help in a keeper league picking keepers. 5 keepers. Rules are you can keep a player for the draft pick a round before he was drafted last year.
Ex: If a player was drafted in the 9th round last year you'd have to give up your 8th round pick this year.

H2H, 10-12 team league (two people dropped out but we're trying to find a couple more)
R, H, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, OBP
    W, L, K, ERA, WHIP, K/9, SV+H

    Locks:
Cody Bellinger (1b, OF) (20th round pick)
Yordan Alvarez (OF) (22nd round pick)
Walker Buehler (SP) (21nd round pick)

    Potential (can only keep 2):
Keston Hiura (2b) (22nd round pick)
Andrew Benintendi (OF) (9th round pick)
Miguel Andujar (UTIL) (21st round pick)
Luis Robert (OF) (22nd round pick)

I'm reading a whole lot of good stuff on Robert. Someone please convince me to take Benintendi at 9th round vs Hiura or Robert as my last picks

Joined a keeper (got assigned the Phillies)
    Trade 1:
I recieved: Walker Buehler + Bobby Bradley (give away Bryce Harper)

    Trade 2:
I recieved: Josh Bell + Felix Hernandez (give away Dee Gordon, Mallex Smith, Kyle Freeland)

    Trade 3:
I recieved: Jorge Polanco (give away JD Davis)

Overall, I think I have a shot at competing in this $ league with 24 GMs. My hitters definitely aren't the greatest though, so I definitely need 2B/3B. I have a few farm players who have a lot of upside too.

    C - JT Realmuto
    1B - Josh Bell
    2B - Kolten Wong
    3B - Jake Lamb
    SS - Jorge Polanco
    OF - Teoscar Hernandez
    OF - Ender Inciarte
    OF - Hunter Pence
    UT - Rhys Hoskins

    Res - Jean Segura
    Res - Astudillo
    Res - Mitch Moreland
    Res - Addison Russell
    Res - Brandon Belt

    P - Walker Buehler
    P - Zack Grienke

    P - Reynaldo Lopez

    P - Taylor Rogers
    P - Emilio Pagan
    P - Pedro Baez

I know this will be tough to answer without full context but I'm trying to pick my last two keepers (we keep 8 in our league). Here are their prices and their projected values after inflation (we have odd settings and it's an AL-only league so these will seem out of whack to most of you):

    Keeper PriceProjected Value
    Buxton1726
    Kiermaier513
    Bundy815
    J. Jimenez817

I feel like I should hang on to Buxton given his projected value but I might be able to get him for less than $17 in the auction... or he could go for more!

    Any thoughts?
