Ryan Miller is available for any teams looking for a one year, stopgap goaltending solution.
Jannik Hansen could also still be moved for the right offer.
Haha nice! Always good to not look stupid after signing some random French guy.Meanwhile, IRL http://www.thescore.com/nhl/news/1034145
But nice grab. I definitely was like "who is this nobody and why does he care..."

Uhhhhhh what the hell? Fire your freaking agent, Kris.Dman Kris Russell returns to Columbus
The BlueJackets sign Kris Russell to a 7-year deal at $2.5 million per year with a full NMC. "He's exactly what this organization needs,"
says GM VI. "He makes smart decisions and blocks shots consistently. He's a guy who can play the 2nd or 3rd pairing solidly."
The 29 year old gets a guaranteed $17.5 million and a full NMC, so his family can return to Columbus, a great university town, and his kids can go through high school and college there.Uhhhhhh what the hell? Fire your freaking agent, Kris.
Tons of time left. No need to accept a poor offer just because there isn't a better deal yet.^^The one and only offer for Kris Russell.
It's a crazy deal and if you don't think so, you're crazy too. That offer is God-awful for a player like Kris Russell. His contract should be double that. The 29 year old gets a guaranteed $17.5 million and a full NMC, so his family can return to Columbus, a great university town, and his kids can go through high school and college there.
Yeah, he could have been offered $4.5 million per season and it would have been for 2-4 years somewhere with possible midseason/deadline trade. He has more money than that in his pocket now, whatever happens.
It isn't a crazy deal. He returns to the BlueJackets and will be a veteran presence for the rebuilt squad.

He is the Calgary Flames GM in this game. He lost Russell. That should tell you something about perspective. Can't tell if serious.

He's just grasping at straws, that doesn't even make any sense.I guess? He got traded at the deadline for a great return, so I don't see why he should be upset.
Jared McCann+ remains available for a youngish, RH'ed d-man.
