READ THE RULES.

And make sure you have your roster & cap info posted in the roster thread!

[fieldset=""]Commissioners
[/fieldset]
[fieldset=""]
Game Schedule

  • Entry Draft: TBA
  • Free Agency Begins: TBA
    *All times ET, and subject to change.
[/fieldset]
[fieldset=""]
Salary Cap

  • CAPFRIENDLY IS RECOMMENDED FOR ALL CAP INFO.
  • The salary cap maximum for the 2016-2017 season is $73M.
  • The salary cap minimum for the 2016-2017 season is $57M.
  • Teams may exceed the cap maximum by 10% during the offseason.
  • Teams must comply with the salary cap by the end of the game.
  • Teams may have a roster of no more than 23 players by the end of the game.
  • Teams may sign their draft picks to contracts using the ENTRY LEVEL CONTRACT CHART.
[/fieldset]

[fieldset=""]Waivers/Buyouts
  • Post in this thread if you’d like to place a player on waivers.
  • Burying a player in the minors or Europe only eliminates a maximum of $900k of their cap hit.
  • A player will be on waivers for 24 hours.
  • Waiver priority will be based on the 2015-2016 NHL standings.
  • If a team claims a player off of waivers, they then have the lowest waiver priority.
  • Teams are permitted to use a maximum of TWO ordinary buyouts.
  • Buyout Calculator
[/fieldset]

[fieldset=""]Trades
  • All trades must be sent to IslesRock4 and RR or else they are not valid.
  • Once a trade is agreed upon, send it in BEFORE POSTING, and then you can announce it in the thread. A deal without a NTC or NMC does not have to be approved.
  • If a trade is announced prior to it being sent in, it will be vetoed.
  • ALL MOVES MUST BE SOMEWHAT REALISTIC. The commissioners hold the power to veto any ridiculous trades.
  • A trade involving a NTC or NMC must be sent in by BOTH GMs with a reasoning for the player(s) to waive. The trade must be approved by BOTH RR and IR prior to posting. Keep in mind that many NTCs or NMCs will NOT be waived.
  • The commissioners will provide a 5 to 8-team no-trade list for players with an unspecified "limited NTC" upon request.
  • If a trade involving a NTC or NMC is announced before approval, it will be vetoed.
  • If a team does not have enough cap space to complete a trade that has been sent in, the trade will be vetoed.
  • Vetoed deals must be significantly altered in order for them to be accepted.
  • If a player waives his NTC or NMC, the NTC or NMC will still be valid with their new team.
[/fieldset]

[fieldset=""]Agents
  • Backstrom #19 will be the agent for East RFAs.
  • Joel Ward will be the agent for West RFAs.
  • ? will be the agent for UFA re-signings.

Sharks are listening to offers on Marleau and Couture but I will only move one of them. Also Wingels and Dillon are available for the right price.

Shopping Alex Edler, looking to get a top 15 pick in the upcoming draft or equivalent defensive prospect as part of any return.

Jannik Hansen could be moved for a late 1st or equivalent.

Jared McCann plus 33rd overall pick could be moved in order to move up in the draft or for a young, RH'ed defenseman.

Alex Burrows, Chris Higgins, Luca Sbisa and Ryan Miller can all be had for cheap. Would be willing to retain salary where neccessary.

Our main focus is a youngish, top four, ideally puck moving defensman to play with Ekblad. We also have interest in a quality top 6 right wing.

Bjugstad and potentially Gudbranson are available for the above two pieces. Our first round pick, all prospects not named Crouse and Matheson, and Howden are also available.

Main needs going into the draft are... (1) young top-6 RW and (2) young LHD defender.

I'm open to moving one of Pavelec, Hutchinson and Hellebuyck (prefer to keep Helly) if anyone's looking for a goaltender. Nothing finalized but I've had a couple inquires.

Not planning to move Scheifele, Ehlers, Connor, Trouba or the 2nd OVR selection. Little, Wheeler and Morrissey are most likely staying as well (baring an overpayment).

EDIT: Willing to part with Nic Petan/Jack Roslavic in my quest for a top RW/LHD prospect as well.

Bobby Ryan, Andrew Hammond and Patrick Wiercioch are currently on the block.

I do get a lot of PMs for Hoffman and Ceci, both are unlikely to move unless I get an incredible offer.

  • Looking for a Top-4 RHD of any make or model.
  • Looking for a right handed forward with a good one-timer.
  • Minor roster trades: Lauri Korpikoski for a pick/prospect/bottom-pairing RHD
  • I'll explore moving Jordan Eberle, Benoit Pouliot, Nail Yakupov, Mark Letetsu, Mark Fayne and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins.

Looking to trade one or more of:

Josh Bailey
Jaroslav Halak
Mikhail Grabovski
Nikolay Kulemin

We want to re-vamp our top 6. Brock Nelson and Ryan Strome can be moved. Johnny Boychuk can be moved, although that is not likely. Michael Dal Colle, Anthony Beauvillier, Scott Mayfield, our 1st round pick, and more young pieces are on the table. Barzal would only be moved for the absolutely perfect winger for Tavares.

Open to ideas.

Trying to move Andrew Shaw. RFA available for the best prospect/pick. Already got a couple good offers, best ones are a good 4th liner and a 3rd, the other is a good defenseman prospect.

Teravainen is on the block as well. It'll take less to get him if you take Bickell with him, but I want a LW that can contribute now.

- Looking to move: one of Fleury/Murray (have had some offers), prospects, picks, maybe Kunitz/Maatta/Hagelin
- Only real untouchables are Sid, Geno, and Letang. Probably won't move Kessel, Doumolin, Hornqvist either but if you have something interesting, don't be afraid to throw it out there.
- Needs: top six LW, top four defenseman, youth

Is there any way we can make a pitch to sign Radulov in this game? Technically he can / could sign now already.
