Guillaume F’n Latendresse was the man.... he began to reach his potential in Minny when he joined forces with little Marty Havlat. He was so damn handsome tho it’s no wonder his groin was always blown out.

I thought Staal was just having a bad run on a terrible Buffalo team. Thought he was worth a try. Well, the trial is over and Staal is washed. Funny how a guy that was so good for long can look like the worst player on the ice in relatively little time. Because he's a cup winner, and the mentality of the team, he'll probably start the playoffs centering the top line for this team.

Don't remember which game but he got hit once and he just sat on his ass for 5 seconds watching the play unfold. He can't even get up properly.

If we play him, I hope he scores multiple hat tricks. I don't care who scores as long as we win.

I'd just prefer we give ourselves the best chance to win possible before the series begins.

If they start this guy game 1 then coaching and management are a bigger joke than I thought. I’m sure there are 12 year old fans that can figure out staal should not be in the line up. I would take any Laval bottom 6 over this guy. Listen I respect staal he’s had a great career but how can he go on thinking he deserves a spot right now? Like just admit it staal you are completely cooked. You are going to take a spot over someone much more deserving. If you are some great leader like you have been trotted up to be your whole career you will sit yourself. I’m so frustrated right now. KK played all 56 games while he hasn’t been great lately that was a tough as hell schedule and the 20 year old played every one of them. He’s a better skater, he hits harder and he’s more reliable than staal, and he’s one of our future pieces. It’s laughable that we are going to cater to staal. Like yah maybe if he’s been a long time hab we give him one shot at doing something in the playoffs but we don’t owe this guy a f***ing thing. Sit him in the stands!
