Agreed. Play the pass but at some point you have to challenge the shooter.
Kronner went too deep on the weakside he (DDK) was froze into place. If he went to the shooter easy pass to center wide open 15 feet out or because kronner was too deep cross ice one timer.
Was a good shot though so what can you do.

How are softies 20 feet out wide open in the scoring area? The shot wasn't some throw it at the net and pray from the perimeter it was a legit high scoring chance. 20 feet is under.3 seconds of reaction time from that distance.

apparently people expect goalies to stop every single shot that isn't screened no matter how close the shot is to the net
while it was saveable shot, it certainly isn't a softie.
it was right below his glove. little movement required. he always gets beat low glove.
One of the best areas to score on any goalie. Go figure
