6 points in 2 games for Datsyuk. Just for my argument about how many points Datsyuk would get playing with proper linemates.

Datsyuk has been playin with great linemates for almost his entire NHL career, it's not the first time in history a player scores 4 points in a game.

Yeah, he is bad player, just a product of his linemates like Tomas Holmström or Todd Bertuzzi.

Finland - Sweden strating.. Kiiskinen has a flu and is out, thats big loss for this team. He was one of the few really skilled player there, not just hard working.

Anyway, hooray, Finland - Sweden on saturday early night! Not many times per year this happens.. Let the game start, kippis!

That is just not true. Zetterberg is now the only linemate with the tools Dats has. But they rarely play together.

Mind=blown your name is actually Atas2000 not Atlas2000.

Lol, this.

Yeah, but it's not like Malkin plays with Kovalchuk and Radulov all the time.

Finns look lost, I guess they are depressed because they're yet to play Russia.

Malkin+Neal=Art Ross+Neal is a 40 goal scorer. Simple math.

If it weren't for his linemates, he'd be driving a taxi:laugh:

I don't know if Datsyuk's the best player in the world, but he's certainly the most unique. The way he handles the puck is something else, he makes it look so effortless and smooth. He's one of the most elegant athletes in all of sports, a true artist.

When he eventually retires, it'll be a sad day for the game of hockey.

Watched the first period of FIN-SWE game. Felt like every shot went in in the beginning and when the Finns started playing for real, they couldn't score any. So it was basic FIN-SWE hockey game... Tomorrow Russia is going to destroy Finland unless they get cocky and lazy. Which I don't think is going to happen. Russia wins 7-1.

Maybe a surprise for everyone, but hattricks are really rare for Datsyuk. He has scored only one in his NHL career. That was at 2008 playoffs, game 3 against Dallas.

I don't remember another hattrick from International play either.

Usually he is the passer at those hattricks that somebody else does.

He had one at WC 2010. Against Denmark, I think.

I'm glad Sweden finaly got it's victory. After all they were in 7 games losing streak in EHT-level. Maybe a small confidence boost?
