Caps had won 5 in a row, but in the last game they fell behind 2-0 only to win it 4-3 in OT to a weaker team in the Sabres. This time it was against a more dangerous offensive team in the Oilers, so they got really burned for it. You can't win them all, but you hate to see them being blown out 4-0.

Wilson, lol. He could not possibly play a worse game today. And is there anyone worse at keeping a puck in the zone than OV? He absolutely kills our PP possession game. He’s like the hockey equivalent of an NFL receiver with alligator arms. With him not putting home the shots he gets from the office we’re better off with someone else.

Ovechkin.

When he gets the puck he does one of three things..
1.) shoot the puck, miss the net entirely
2.) shoot the puck, right into the goaltender's midsection
3.) ring the puck around to kuznetsov so he can get double-teamed and lose possession.

And all this while they're trying to set up Ovechkin. I mean at this point, the only solution is to move him to PP2 like we did Kovy, he can't be on PP1.

Tough when a guy who mgmt probably expected would pot 40 goals isn’t contributing a damn thing. So agreed, this roster was constructed around having 8,92, etc as big contributors. Carbery doesn’t have much to work with at the moment offensively.

Just play the youth. The vets think they can be young again and rely on skill alone. A total buzz kill game to a trash team. Tired of hearing about the Oilers and their record.

Hasn't Carbery basically admitted they're too dumb/stubborn to execute any differently on the PP? They just can't really think the game any differently. It's not being without Forsyth. They just dumb.
