Too late to edit it now anyways. I don't feel like restarting my Habs GM. Maybe my next one but I want to turn Montreal into a dynasty.

I mean MDZ does have a lot of potential to still become a good player. The question is if any team is willing to gamble on him.

3.5* Y , 3.5* R or 4* R seem about right.

Opening Night line-up for 2014-15

Zuccarello 82 - Nielsen 83 - Heatley 80
Versteeg 80 - Bjugstad 81 - Clowe 80
Greening 80 - Letestu 79 - Jones 80
Richardson 79 - Thompson 79 - Weise 81

Streit 83 - Summers 82
Boyle 83 - Scuderi 80
Regehr 79 - Liles 79

Enroth 82
Nabokov 80

Thompson had a beastly 45 point season last year while being Nate Thompson, so I feel bad moving him down three lines but that's where he fits best right now.

No honor for Connor!

Weirdest thing is when I had my Calgary GM and Ribeiro (85) got 86 points while playing on my first line. It was like in year two.

I think it was Monahan (82) - Ribeiro (85) - Callahan (87)

In NHL 12, Ribeiro had 70 assists by himself. But yeah, Ribeiro's one of those guys who put up points.

Currently in my London GM, he got 50+ points in the 3 seasons I've done so far, and he's doing it by himself in Nashville.

A Quiet Offseason

The London Rockstars had a relatively quiet offseason, as they felt that injuries was the only reason why they had a down year last year. The London Rockstars also gave a 3-year extension to their general manager Adams. "I'm glad to be a part of this organization, I can't wait to get back to work during the re-sign stage", says Adams.

Name |Overall| Cap-Hit | Years
Mark Scheifele|85|3.715m|2
Matt Calvert|80|2.110m|3
Jacob Trouba|82|1.290m|3
Michael Hutchinson|83|1.475m|1
Patrice Cormier|78|1.050|2
Carl Klingberg|79|1.750m|2

During the free agency, the London Rockstars signed some much needed depth on offense and defense. The Rockstars only signed 3 guys this offseason.

Name|Overall|Cap-Hit|Years
Chris Tanev|83|4.9m|4
Antoine Roussel|79|1.8m|2
Jacob Brennan|77|950k|3 (entry level)

----------------------------------------------------

2016-2017 Projected Lineup

Evander Kane (88, A) - Ryan Johansen (85) - Patrick Kane (94)
Matt Calvert (83) - Mark Scheifele (85) - Blake Wheeler (86, C)
Matt Beleskey (81) - Nick Bjugstad (82) - Michael Frolik (82)
Antoine Roussel (80) - Patrice Cormier (81) - Carl Klingberg (80)

Tobias Enstrom (85, A) - Chris Tanev (85)

Rib's been killing the NHL the last couple years in my Ducks GM. Two years ago he won the Art Ross (if you are paying attention to my Ducks GM that is) and has been putting up consistent 70+ point seasons. I just want him to retire already....

2014-15 Trade Deadline

I'm currently somewhere in the bottom 10 and going strong for a high pick in the McEichel draft. Josh Ho-Sang who was already a surprise at 4.5Y* when drafted at #27 has made nice progress and is 75 OVR at the deadline. Nice knowing I have a probable first liner in him.

Aaron Ekblad is also stepping in next season and is currently at 79 overall. Goalie prospect Troy Trombley (4.5Y*) who I drafted 33rd is now 72 overall (up from 65) and hopefully in the NHL in two years time.

So anyways I decided to trade Dan Boyle at age 38 on his last year to get something out of him before he retires so I traded him to Carolina for a 1st and a 3rd. The draft doesn't look that good after round 2 so I'll probably trade the 3rd away moving up in round 1.

This should also help me tank as Boyle was having a good year and has now been replaced by Keith Aulie who's 79 overall.

Then I traded 4 useless prospects for a 4th and 2 5ths which are all also useless. I also traded Dale Weise (81, 1 year remaining). who I dislike, for a 2nd from San Jose. BJ Crombeen took his spot on the 4th.

After trading a first and a third for the 78-year-old Dan Boyle the Carolina Hurricanes traded their next year's 1st as well, along with a prospect, for Francois Beauchemin... Who they subsequently waived and he was claimed back by the Ducks.

I claimed Andrew Desjardins from SJ and Brad Malone from CAR for the Calder Cup run.

So what's the best way to deal with inconsistency? My line-up is pretty much perfect all around, all stats are good; everyones scoring. My 4th Line Forward has 30 pts for crying out loud, but we still manage to lose one, win one, win two, lose two, win six, lose four. It sucks. :shakehead

2013-2014 Season

The Edmonton Oilers go 5-1 during the preseason. The Nuge lead the team with 9 points while Fasth played amazing. Onto the season.

---------------------------------

The Oilers start the season strong with a 7-1-2 record. Ebs and Nuge with amazing chemistry helped them to the strong start. That would change quickly. Midway through the season, the Oilers sit at 18-17-6. They currently sit at eighth in the West.

Mid Season Stats:

Player | Goals | Assists | Points | +/- | PIMS
Eberle | 10 | 28 | 38 | +3 | 4
Hall | 19 | 10 | 29 | +2 | 24
Nugent-Hopkins | 9 | 20 | 29 | -1 | 6
Perron | 10 | 11 | 21 | -5 | 12
Arcobello | 7 | 12 | 19 | -9 | 14
Schultz | 3 | 15 | 18 | Even | 4
Purcell | 3 | 10 | 13 | -7 | 6
Yakupov | 3 | 6 | 9 | Even | 14

Player | GP | W | L | OTL | GAA | SV% | SO
Fasth | 30 | 14 | 12 | 4 | 2.68 | .912 | 1
Scrivens | 12 | 4 | 5 | 2 | 1.63 | .943 | 1

---------------------------------

Eberle has been the best player for the Oilers so far. Hall and the. Nuge have been very disappointing lately. Yakupov seems to be lost out there. 2nd line minutes for Yak and only 9 points. Yikes.

Fasth could not hold his ground so Scrivens has become the new starter. It looks like Scrivy will remain the starter with amazing stats. The only problem is the oilers haven't been able to score when he's in nets.
