fitting the season ends that way, since we were struggling with that stuff all year

That's the way our PK seems to work. Our D tend to be in front of the screening player

*wanted, these playoffs eliminated that for me. A month ago I was all for having him back but man he sucked something fierce at the end.

Canes are great and top to bottom make great decisions, hope the devils emulate their team build. 31/32 seasons end in bitterness, but loved this season and seeing the kids grow. it was a blast.

Canes are not nearly as talented but have a better constructed roster .

Lots to look forward to guys. My heart stopped pounding the second that puck went it. Great season. Great learning experience for these kids. We've been hungry for these types of high pressure games, and we best get used to them going forward. We deserve it.

Honestly thought if we kill that penalty we win it in OT. The vibe was good until it wasn’t.

That rule is second only to the trapezoid for being the most ludicrous in the NHL.

Great season, not a ton of work to do on the team this offseason, and seeing Schmid step up in this game makes me feel a decent amount better about the future in net.

But losing on the worst rule in the NHL while having our guys crosschecked and cut up with blades all OT, only to lose because we decided to get stupid again, is an unacceptably painful way for this to end.
