4th D-man for points on his team and worst +- stats with his team. Had a tremendous camp and start then, faded.
again not true, he was doing fine, so well that he got invited to play for Team Sweden during Euro Tour which is a warm up for the WC's. He got injured there, missed some time, came back, got injured again and his team was in a major slump. As one of the top teams in the league every year, they had started out being in the top 3 and were neck and neck but then the offense went into a blackhole so while Norlinder was out with his 2nd injury in a short span, they brought in a hired gun in Sigalet who took over Norlinder's spot at RD in the top 3 in terms of TOI (though I can't say I actually checked where Sigalet's TOI was each game). I assume they did this in a panic to shake things up as the team fell from top 3 to the 7-10 range which is the bottom of the playoff range. When Norlinder came back they moved him to LD, he had some defensive issues at times for sure, but then caught fire in the playoffs where he was one of their best players. I think injuries impacted him to some degree but he did what you want to see and that's finish very strong as he was one of the top goal scoring blueliners in the playoffs despite the fact he was a rookie.
Again, why did MB sign him if he was struggling so badly?
