That's a dynamite bottom pairing. I love KMiller and everything he's brought to this team, but i think Clifton is going to displace him as a regular very soon if he keeps playing with this kind of energy, smarts, and guts.

I like Clifton a lot but the Bruins really need Miller's physicality. Not sure we have room for Clifton, kid looks ready for a full time gig though.

Clifton is pretty physical. He's not as big as Miller but he can lay down some hits. Fierce and willing fighter too.

I agree, he plays bigger then his size for sure. Kid is a tremendous competitor and a great skater, lots to like in his game.

Unfair comparison to Colin Miller, IMO. Miller is taller, a better skater and has a rocket of a shot. CC is a good skater, though without the shot. But he is better defensively, from my limited viewing and more willing to get his nose dirty in the checking department. He’s clearly better, overall, in terms of talent than Kampfer. There’s a place for him on this roster next season, whether it’s as Kampfer or Miller’s expense.

Clifton who is not as big as Miller is a more modern version of that style of player. Hybrid physical and some skill on the bottom 6.

I like Clifton, but man that would be a tiny pairing. Both players under 6', and a total weight coming in around 350 (maybe 360)

yep and fans , while enthused by Clifton`s play need to remember just what happened to this team in last year`s playoffs. It`s not that the Bolts are a big, heavy team but they sure made the B`s D look like a Midget team out there, nobody could use their body to take the puck off the Bolts.

I missed tonight`s tilt so can`t comment on his game this evening, I liked the game he brought in his earlier stint but the kid still would have me on pins and needles in the heat of playoff battle, such a rover it`s concerning when discipline is needed at playoff time

He's a rover. Plays consistent and smart hockey. IMO should be in the lineup over Moore

Why would you dress Clifton over a better defenseman? There is no room for CC this year. He should be subbed in before Kampfer but when everyone is healthy, Clifton isn't in the lineup. If Kevan Miller doesn't return in time for playoffs, Clifton still isn't in the lineup.

The kid plays a lot bigger than he is. They would be dumb to not have this kid around. Name a better D prospect.

I honestly feel that Krug will be dealt in the offseason for a top 6 fwd, and to make space for at least 1 LD from Providence
I think so too. Looks like Chara is going to resign and I think they want to see what one of the prospects can do. If none of them are ready they still have Chara, Grizz and Moore. It’s a chance to get an impact player for the top 6 like the Wideman for Horton trade.
