Sturridge did well, but he obviously can't play more than 55 minutes anymore. Everything after that point was quite poor. Definitely a great backup option to have.
We can both watch a replay later. Sturridge was playing the ball not the keeper the entire time. Areola never had possession, he put himself in Sturridge path. The linesman was the one who called it back not any of the refs. But Areola was fouled in the interim. It's easy to say what Sturridge could do differently. He could not go in studs up
These things are irrelevant.Sturridge was playing the ball not the keeper the entire time. Areola never had possession, he put himself in Sturridge path.
Robertson has been awesome.
I feel like with Wijnaldum on the right they just haven't been able to get the ball to Neymar very much (Wijnaldum just closes lanes and covers space so well) and TAA has had less responsibility and more freedom to attack. They're using Mbappé a lot more on the counter and Robertson has matched him at almost every step. Both fullbacks. They've had an impossible job and done well. Neymar has done even less than Mbappe.
Seemed like most of Brugge's shots were from outside the box though. Better than no shots like Dortmund had, but I'm expecting a 0-0 draw barring some mishap.
And just like that the two combineBoth fullbacks. They've had an impossible job and done well. Neymar has done even less than Mbappe.
