Does this not seem like the 50 contract limit is going to be an issue in 3 years? Also, the next GM (Fitzmagic or not) would have to be an idiot to mess up this team, especially if Blackwood stays at this level or better.

Next full time GM will be grateful for the organizational depth they will inherit. That’s why I laugh at the crazy few on here who insist we were in a better place in 2015. A rebuild was desperately needed from 2013-2015. Those two years of not blowing it up really made this process so much longer.

Which likely means Fitzgerald (or the next GM) will likely be wheeling and dealing this off-season trying to address the defense.

We have too many prospects and not enough places to play them. It's already an issue in Binghamton today and a lot of these guys (forwards in particular) are on the first or second years of the ELCs.

It seems that they should be able to flip a few forward prospects for a few defense prospects.

honestly, his numbers aren’t that good when you factor in his age. Look at what Tye Felhaber has done so far this season as a comparison.
