I was thinking making a few saves on the same shot. Scoring a goal would be acceptable.

My guess is somebody saw something that he was repeatedly doing wrong and told him. Perhaps he's now corrected that.

The first game the entire team looked totally off. The third game (3 goals on 5 shots) Ned misplayed two pucks—one the poor ice stopped a puck dead about 3 inches from where Ned could play it and he ended up stuck out of net.

I think it was more bad luck and poor team play than him repeatedly doing anything wrong. In fact, he actually looked a little worse last night, but had some things go his way.

Ned starts slow it seems. When I was watching him at first this year, looked like a cat chasing a laser pointer.

I think he’s probably settled down, not speed balling Red Bull pre game.

So far, not much standing out particularly positively or negatively other than Forsberg. He looks outstanding.
