Same size as Brayden PointToo small / not strong enough for the NHL, IMO.
I get that you like him bc he’s Russian, but, he is not close to as skilled or able to skate as Point.Same size as Brayden Point
Not talking about skill, the size he’s got is enough to be in the NHL given good skill is what I meantI get that you like him bc he’s Russian. But

Looking for some info on players who made their debut last season...
F - Ryan MacInnis
F - Calvin Thurkauf
F - Emil Bemstrom
D - Vladislav Gavrikov
D - Andrew Peeke
G - Elvis Merzlikins
G - Matiss Kivlenieks
What kind of players are they and what is their NHL projection looking like?
Thanks!
We have big plans for Kivlenieks. CBJ must leave a goalie exposed for the Seattle expansion draft and since Elvis is exempt and they will want to protect Korpi...Kivy it is.Looking for some info on players who made their debut last season...

Marchenko absolutely tore up MHL in a brief stint he was there, then has been strong in KHL.
I think he’s the most NHL ready out of all Russian prospects
Good thing we won't see him until 2022.
How much negotiating power do Russian prospects have playing in the KHL?
like could Chinakov come back and say I only want to sign one year at a time?
I am pretty sure cslebn was asking how much leverage Russian prospects have with their KHL club. And its a great question, can they negotiate an "out clause" for the NHL, can they negotiate one year deals, etc.Say that to who, his Russian club? NHL ELCs are pretty much ironclad due to the CBA.
I hope whenever/if these kids come over they are "over ripe" and ready to hit the ground running....or hit the ice skating, maybe?
Tarasov earns his first KHL shutout today.

It seems like he has been quite streaky in his past. So waiting for other shoe to drop and he goes cold for ten games (the CBJ fan in me always waiting for the negative).Does this dude just score every game, my god...and he's 20. I'm liking the big swings for top end talent, Russia a good place to find it.
Pronman ranks us as 21st in the NHL with our prospect pool. He also ranked Chinakhov as our 8th best prospect
