I have to confess I feel comfortable when Brouwer is on the ice in PP. Not even close to what I feel with Laich.

Burakovsky has also looked more speedy. Kuznetsov looks somewhat lost and stiff.

Rethinking things I actually believe letting him start on the wing may be a better idea as 17 games on a 4th line is really not enough to get fully acclimated to the NHL.

Laich slammed the door, seemingly in frustration, after a brief shift, following lower body bang up after hit from MTL’s Tom Gilbert.

Welp

If his helmet is loose at all he's supposed to do that to stop play. Also should have been a penalty.

Feel bad for Laich but now, there's a spot to be taken by Burakovsky. Laich was a waste of a spot anyways. There are better options for the top 9.

So what we've got?

Bura should play with adult wingers in Chimera and Ward. Not ideal as 3rd line but OK for now.

Fehr is 1RW, should be better than Brouwer 1RW.

Ther rest are Kuz-MJ-Brouwer. If Laich is injured Trotz doesn't have options until Wilson is ready!

Is there enough NHL caliber forwards at all?
