My word would be scary.
If Rutherford turfs Delorme, I would be forever grateful.
See this post:
Weve been talking for 24 hours about how receptive Rutherford will be to analytics and whether or not he is open to modern ideas and progressive thinking. Before he’s finished sitting down he’s fired the head analytics guy who has served under like 6 prior GMs and was promoted into his role by Gillis. That doesn’t concern you?
A lot of wish-casting about how he’s going to do this or he’s going to do that but for now I’m just going based on what has happened so far.

That's always been the canary in the coal mine. Gillis is the best GM in Canucks history simply by demoting him. Real opportunity here for NewOldJim.

I could take or leave Gillis, but Gilman at GM with some degree of autonomy on the roster from Rutherford and Aquilini would go a long way in making me excited about the future.
Brian Burke still helping the Canucks, even after he left back in 2004.

Hes also a piece of shit who tried and succeeded to screw over the team for signing one of the best gms in team history that made is OBC buddies look like morons.Burkie still has a soft spot for the Canucks. Still love the dude for brining in Kesler and The Sedins. Really f***ed up the Umberger situation though.

Don't really understand getting rid of Chris Gear. Perhaps a personal feud that Frank had with him?

So much for not meddling.
