Because it’s a massive difference?….Rutherford has incredible hockey knowledge and experience. That would compliment a young GM immensely.

Definitely not the direction I was preferring us to go. Would definitely rather see Rutherford as President, and have a different/additional hire as GM.

I mean it was already clear Aquilini doesn't understand how a successful hockey team is built or how to identify competent management.
So of course the guy in the HHOF with three cup wins is the best candidate. How could we expect Aquilini to see anything beyond that.
