Confirmed with Link: Canucks hire Jim Rutherford as POHO, Interim GM - search for permanent GM will continue

As long as we end up with a progressive GM to help counteract the fact that Rutherford is 197 years old I am very on board with this.

One of my biggest concerns with the team was our meddlesome owner - it's pretty clear that's not gonna be the case with our new POHO - which is overall a very good thing.

Hopefully the press conference on Monday provides a little more detail and direction. Pretty much all of us have been calling for change (for years now) so we got what we asked for. Beggars can’t be choosers lol! I am willing to be open minded and allow some time (and action) before I will cast any judgement.
