I guess this explains why he has seemed so tired and dejected.

All the best to him in his big battle.I hope Dorion and Lee can take a lot of the burden from him as he will need all his energy to fight cancer and he will need his rest.

Times like this I really love Twitter. Blowing up with good vibes right now.

I love it.

My twitter feed is consistently 90% negative. It's amazing to see the entire hockey community come together for one man right now.

For those of us old enough to remember Roger Neilson and how the Sens fully wrapped it's collective heart, thought and soul around him during and after his fight, i hope the Sens do the same here.

From our entire family, Bryan we wish you the absolute best in this fight.

Hopefully they caught it in time.

My step uncle I guess you could say had lung cancer. Removed the lung, but he never recovered and died in April. My mother was diagnosed with lung cancer in August. I guess they didn't catch it in time as recently I just found out that it's more a question of when she passes.

Cancer affects everyone in some shape, or form.

Hopefully he can pull through this. It's not easy, but he'll need all the support he can get.

Really sorry to hear that, man.
