Haha honestly good for him though wherever he ends up. He did the backup thing for years and it’s worth a shot to try and become a starter. He wasn’t going to be that in Philly.

Not really crazy about Elliott coming back, but the backup goalie market is pretty thin this off season. So I guess they went with the guy they know. Thankfully its only one year.

If you can't find a definite upgrade, better stay with the known commodity.
Elliot is a team player and good locker room personality. Only thing that worries me is that he has always played his best hockey when getting into a groove - he isn't used to the backup role and may struggle to find his game when being thrown into a game cold after a week of inactivity.
