Probably the tweet where he compares Pastrnaks beard to the pube beard from the Jackass skit.

People apparently got offended because it’s insensitive to the Muslim people.

Yeah. I know. A bit ridiculous.
I thought it was offensive to people that like to wear pubes on their face. But seriously, that was a funny post, I couldn’t believe he went there lol.

He is hysterical, so easy to see why he was voted the best and worst trash talker in the league. The NHL needs more personality, they have guys like Ovechkin/Subban but so many of the superstars like Crosby/McDavid are pretty much silent off the ice. It definitely shouldn't reach the level of the NFL/NBA where it's just arrogance, but I love to see this.

Any relation to Charlie there?
I was wracking my brain trying to figure out a McAvoy connection before I remembered we have another Charlie now. As if "Coyle" shouldn't have tipped me off.

I need a vacation :help: :wally:

To answer your question...I have no idea

Eight more games Ten more points, will make it, a 100 point season for Marchand and he has an outside chance of finishing in the top 5 of the scoring race. The guys a phenomenal player offensively and Defensively.

Brad Marchand has a big fan in one of his idols - The Boston Globe

The summer before the 2014 Sochi Olympics, Marchand, a 25-year-old hopeful, golfed at a Team Canada function with Martin St. Louis.

“I don’t think I said a word to him,” Marchand said of St. Louis, who won the Art Ross Trophy the year before that, one of two in his Hall of Fame career. “I was so star-struck by him. He was incredible.”

He’s becoming smarter and smarter every year,” St. Louis said. “Protecting the puck is an art. He’s got the skills to protect it in some weird situations. It’s so much fun to watch.”

St. Louis, who retired in 2015 with 1,013 points (28th all-time among wingers), was a master of creating space for himself amid towering checkers. He used a long lance of a stick — as does Marchand — and a lower body so strong some called him “Quadzilla.” His mind was just as critical.

“There’s not much room out there now,” St. Louis said. “He knows when it’s time to play fast. He knows when it’s time to slow it down. He knows where everyone is on the ice. He knows his exits out of the corners. And all that’s processed well before he touches the puck.”

marchand most underrated player in nhl?

he seems to finally be getting some just deserved credit by the talking heads on sports shows as he closes in on 100 point season... but do they admit he had 85 points in 68 games last year? or how about ending 2017 with 54 points in his last 41 games?

mr marchand went super sonic in January of 2017 and has been the leagues best winger ever since... one of the games top 5 players ever since.

in his last 184 games he has 233 points

Passes Savard's 2006/07 total of 96 to have the most points by a Bruin since the lockout (and most since Thornton's 101 in 2002/03). If he can get to 102 he'll have the most since Oates in 1993/94.
Just a little ways to go to beat Oates’ record.

I knew it was high, but 142!

I think he's a top 3 player to be completely honest, right up there with McDavid and Kucherov. His play on the PK and in the d zone makes up the point difference of those 2 guys in my opinion.

ironically... theres a lot of people that build a case marchand is not better than Bergeron... so top 3 might be controversial.

I used to say McDavid wasnt the best player in nhl… but I have to admit I seen too much unbelievable good crap from him to not be won over. on a better team hed prob dominate similar to what gretzky did

so I will put him clearly at the top without much competition...

and then... im going to go with Crosby for number 2... centers do have a bit more value then wingers. leadership is important. cups are important. Crosby is better defensively then some of his competition like mackinnon or Matthews.

as for kucherov... maybe I sell him short... I havent seen enough defense from him to say hes in marchands class defensively. and I think tampa plays more run and gun than boston does. I think marchands linemates have been hurt more. I will admit kucherov is hell of a good player but for me marchand is better.

Bergeron to me gets more improvement from marchand than marchand does from Bergeron but as a duo they cant be beat

That 92-93 season is just crazy looking back in hindsight. 21 guys cracked 100 pts., 14 guys cracked 50 goals.

26 years later, we might see 9 guys crack 100 pts (and thats being generous), and no more than 3 guys crack 50 goals.

And that was the clutch and grab, hook and hold era, and violent crease-clearing was the norm

comedy in and of itself is offensive. It's unfortunate that the world has lost its ability to laugh at itself.

Offensive is an ever shifting paradigm:

Nobody bats an eye at these...

For the record they aren't offensive unless someone wants them to be
