He has a NMC and you'd be hard pressed to get better overall value on a non-ELC contract than Marchand's deal. Why would he accept a deal out of town at this juncture?

Spectacular player. One of the best defensive forwards in the league. One of the best offensive forwards in the league. Led the playoffs in scoring.

Hall might be the one semi-realistic target I'd even entertain the idea of trading Marchand for.

Well, the Bruins traded Joe, so.......... it's certainly possible. I hope this doesn't happen, but reading this from @Fenway who I trust, makes me think it's a possibility. I hate the thoughts of it.
