Just came across this guy- Harvey Reid. Very talented guitarist who also dabbles on 6 string banjo.

He wrote that album in a small little town about 12 miles away from me and apparently played random open mic shows while he was there clearing his head. Red Wing Minnesota.
But I looked for this thread to pimp a band called American Aquarium. I saw them open for 4onthefloor (another local Minneapolis rock band) and absolutely fell in love with. I tried to figure out how to imbed videos on my phone but didn't work. Check them out or don't. I don't care.

Thanks, but I got an mp3 and burned a disc. Have you heard this album before or of Phil Pearlman? He also had a psychedelic album called Beat of the Earth in 1967 and a son who became an Al Qaeda supporter.

Margo Price just released a nice little 4 song EP called Weakness. You can read about and hear each song(spotify) on NPR.

"psychedelic country-funk"
I started listening to the Outlaw Country station on Sirius and they've been playing Weakness a lot. It's a pretty good song.
