Jays can get 8 runs but Boston can as well. You can never let up to a team like Boston.

Maybe the wildest game of the year so far. There's been a little bit of everything. Holt looked like he was out at first base on the slowed down replay. Good thing he didn't score. So glad I chose to watch this instead of the opening Sunday of the NFL.

This has been a crazy game.

I am not surprised.

How impressive was Sanchez for you this game?

Is it because Shapiro tried to limit his innings or he was right in trying to limiting Sanchez's innings?

It was because he is developing a blister.

Yeah. It will be an interesting finish to the season.

I really hope the Jays resist the urge to blow it up. If they can re-sign Edwin and sign a reasonably priced replacement for Dickey they should be competitive next season.

yesterday's loss was a heart breaker. The type that can send a team in to a death spiral. They need a quality start from Liriano in the worst way tonight

At least the Jays skipped Dickey's start in the rotation. That is a silver lining of sorts.

The Jays hit Odorizzi hard the last time they faced him.

Doesn't matter who the Rays are starting today.

Jays being 2-7 this month with a 7-9 record against the Rays this season.

No Donaldson tonight.

Liriano's first start in over 2 weeks now.

Should be another tight game.

Boston only needed one inning to do in Baltimore

I will take it.

Not pretty again offensively (or defensively in a couple spots), but Odorizzi was good tonight and minus 2 mistakes the pitching was pretty solid all night.

Hopefully JD is back tomorrow or for the day game Wednesday and a little break gets him going.

Still time to get hot before the playoffs.

3 runs will not cut it always but I expect some solid performances these next 2 games.

I am expecting a big game from Stroman tomorrow.
