You should switch your addiction to something that happens a little more often
Just keep him away from mobile games haha, those things will ruin your life.
It is a tough one though as trades pretty only happen on 3-4 dates along the year.

That Jeff Skinner trade was an absolute steal for Buffalo. Mind you they'll have to pay up after this season, but man he's been good. Wish the Avs would've been in on that.
It usually isn't a good idea to make a trade to stem a losing streak tide.
I don't care how many points we have if it is a long term solution for the #2C position.

I see #1 being the most likely.

That's what I thought a week or so ago, but even if Bednar isn't the problem, there also comes a point where you have to wonder how many losses in a row can he get away with? Avs might have to win one soon to save his job. We're at six in a row now.
Honestly, I don't think Bednar's job is on the line at all right now. Not even a little bit.
I HIGHLY doubt they move any of them, unless it provides a long term solution. I think the most entertaining circumstance with the team from an outsiders perspective would be what they choose to do with Barrie and Varlamov. Barrie for trade reasons and Varly as he has been a top 5 goalie when healthy over the past 3 years (based off of statistics I think he's been 4th, which likely would surprise some people). I also don't expect them to do too much this season.
[snip]
Snow always loved Barrie, maybe he still has influence and Isles trade for him!
At some point Sakic may have to choose from three options:
1) Let this season ride and see what happens, while addressing needs through the draft, and UFA.
2) Make a trade and give up assets he doesn't want to for a top 6 C/W. Assuming this is why he hasn't done so, because he doesn't like the asking prices.
3) Fire the coach.

Yes, but our GM is Joe Sakic.. We won't see a trade for two years, but when we do it will be huge!

Sick of the current whipping boys? Bring back the old ones!Martinsen on waivers. Might be an upgrade to the 4th line.
Sure but when you have 2 1sts in a draft that is stacked with high end centers is trading for someone really a solution when you already have the assets that will possibly/likely end up filling that void?
