It isn't looking good for Rafa right now, although that break saved was huge. I don't think it'll end up mattering for this set, though.

Nole is only one year younger than Rafa but in that set it looked like a ten year age difference.

Joker is playing some of the closest to perfect Tennis I've ever seen.

With Nadal doing a damn good impersonation of Pouille, Nole gets the early break, 2-1.

Complete domination. Even when Rafa wins points, he seems to be barely hanging on. They haven't been on equal footing the entire match due to Djokovic's fluidity and shot-making. Great serving and ridiculous returns. This tournament has been the revitalization of Rafa's serve and the best it has looked on hard court in years. And he's struggling mightily to avoid being broken all the time. Top notch tennis by Djokovic.

So much hype for this game and Joker going to send everyone home early.

When Rafa does get a chance, he becomes his own worst enemy tonight. He looks almost resigned.

Every few games he plays a shot that is almost a reminder that it's Rafa out there. Most of the match it hasn't looked like Rafa at all. Joker has made him look like some generic unseeded player and he's clearly rattled and frustrated because he can't do anything about it.

It will be interesting to see if these guys rematch at the French Open.

I loaded up on caffeine last night for this. While I don't regret watching this dominant performance, I was hoping for a much more competitive match.
