Felix will be the #2 seed in qualifying. Polansky the #10 seed and Schnur also in on the Men's side.

On the Women's side, Andreescu will be the #4 seed coming off her big week last week. Marino continuing her comeback will try and qualify. Sebov (who just turned 20) is also there.

I think this tournament is wide open on both sides.

Health concerns all over.

My darkhorse pick is Wawrinka. I may put a few bucks down on him.

Andy Murray may retire after the Aussie Open, if not Wimbledon will be his last tourney. He is still having a lot of pain with his hip.

Andreescu has qualified! What a start to 2019 for her!

She gets an interesting draw in R1 against another teenager, 16 year old American WC Whitney Osuigwe. Osuigwe is top junior player.

Ugh, Sharapova's match is on and it's brutal. She is up early but her serve is awful. Goerges is on another TSN channel and she's up 4-2.

Strong starts for Sabalenka and Sharapova.

Sabalenka is very close to a major breakthrough I think. She'll have a major title very soon. She's a threat here.

Nice start to the Open with Murray fighting back from two down to force a fifth set against Bautista Agut.

Welp too bad the crash and burn came just after I woke up and turned it on, but I guess it was inevitable given Murray's health problems and a tough first round opponent. Hopefully he does get one last run at Wimbledon.

Berdych over Edmund a bit of a surprise.

Got the feeling that Andy is not quite done yet. If he needs to retire, Wimbledon has to be where it happens. Nothing else makes poetic sense.

He said he will decide over the next week whether or not to have major surgery that could save his career.

I won't miss Murray even a little bit but i did admire the pushback against Bautista. Good match. Hoping one Canadian can have a good run...likely be on the men's side.

Nishikori is down two sets to love.

Edit: And he wins the next two and ends up with a 5 set win when his opponent retired.

Querry is out and Isner lost yesterday.

Genie played an impressive match, 2 and 1. She plays Williams next, too bad.

Andreescu is on TSN.ca or the TSN app right now and Denis is next. Bianca is up 4-2 in the first.

Bianca takes the first in a breaker, 7-1! Denis is up a break 3-1 in the first.

Denis took the first and is on serve in the second. Bianca is down a break in the second. I am fading.
