Start with that for Kaprizov and then add.

He'll be 29 at his next contract. Not sure I wanna be the team that gives him 7/8 x 13 until he's 36/37, even as good as he's been.

Very long contracts with high AAV have never bit us in the past.......

Gophers a finalist for Eiserman, who is a top 5 talent for 2024. They lost out in Celebrini (freak prospect), but it sounds like it’s between them, BU, and Nodak for Eiserman

I thought previous reports were his ask was 9+ and Isles offer was 8+? Interesting that he chose the flames and less money.

Dont think he "choose" less money. No one was giving him 9m. Isle's couldn't clear the cap to give him the 8m.

Season's on the horizon, at some point the game of musical chairs has to stop.

I dont believe this spelling was meant to bug me, but it does lol. However I was more so commenting on less money as the talks were out there that Isles offered 8m(+?) so taking 7m is less money.

I agree get all the signings over with, the waiting game is killing me.

I actually think Calgary might be better than before, albeit older.

Huberdeau > Gaudreau
Tkachuk > Kadri, but positional value is big here

I have a very low opinion of Huberdeau, I am not worried about them at all. That much movement though generally doesn't lead to immediate rewards, they will take time to form some kind of chemistry most likely, and that was the healthiest team in the league by far last year.
