A Finish reporter of a notable media outlet published an article about the Dallas Stars today. He likened Benn and Sequin to Getzlaf and Perry as team leaders with questionable dedication and effort.

Not sure that I agree but I really don't know much about the situation in Dallas. While I tend to agree that the twins did let the team down at times, I'm not sure it was ever at the level of owners calling them out in public in the same way.

Getzlaf and Perry have won far more than the Stars duo and have far better playoff track records - especially Getzlaf.

It’s true. They never really were. Benn’s prime was short, even shorter than Perry’s

and Getzlaf was easily the more dominant better player than Seguin

yeah benn's definitely on the downward spiral. and he's still only 30

13-18 was his prime. 53 pts in 78 games last year and only 2 pts in 7 games so far this season

Watching the kings feed is kind of sad, they try so hard to mention their glory days no matter how tangential it is to what is going on in the game. Its like that old guy at the end of the bar trying to chat with the younger patrons about how cool he used to be but he's really just talking to himself because no one wants to listen.

I just left the Rangers @ Capitals game. That is a hell of a barn with self-serve beer and big comfy seats.

That said the game seemed very sloppy on both sides.
