Dogs dead.

Sort of surprising, the Ice Caps will be further for callups away it seems less convenient.

There is a direct flight every day out of St Johns bound for Montreal so that's not a huge problem.

Andlauer wanted an OHL franchise, Molson wanted to buy the Habs farm team, Winnipeg wanted to bring home their farm team, St Johns gets the fill the void left by the departing Winnipeg farm team.

Everybody wins.

Flights aren't really an issue, there is a direct flight and worse comes to worse there at several flights to the maritimes which allows for quick connections to Saint-John's.

Habs fans in Newfoundland will be happy.

Edit.. Thread title needs to be changed to St. Johns. Saint John is in New Brunswick. :)

The Habs farm team might've been in Saint John, New Brunswick before but never in St. Johns, Newfoundland.

Edit.. Never in Saint John, New Brunswick either but in Fredericton, New Brunswick from 1990-1999.

I didn't know there were two.
