That's a great way to lose him againHe never seems to have a bad game. Would love to flip him for a 4th at the deadline with the full intention to re-sign him. Our current 4th line is fantastic IMO.
Yeah, it's unfortunate we have such a good tandem at the wrong time in the team's evolution.Ryan Miller is 6-5-2 this season with a 2.86 GAA and a .912 SV PCT. Considering the Ducks D issues those are pretty solid numbers for a back up especially a 39 yo one.
I don't think this franchise has ever had bad goaltending. Maybe the weird Emery year.Yeah, it's unfortunate we have such a good tandem at the wrong time in the team's evolution.

True, but as a 1,2 this could be the best we ever had. Just too bad it isn't in support of a cup run.I don't think this franchise has ever had bad goaltending. Maybe the weird Emery year.
It was pretty soft during the transition from the end of the Hebert days to the beginning of the Giguere days. Shields, Roussel, Askey, etc.I don't think this franchise has ever had bad goaltending. Maybe the weird Emery year.

I think Shields was meant to be the starter and thank god Giguere put that to rest. But yeah, that couple seasons-plus where Hebert's groin was shot and we had some questionable/too young guys filling in was the worst it's been. It's not like any of those guys was really ever the starter, which really illustrates how good we've had it. The worst you can point to in the team's history is a couple bad backups.
Interesting. So we are riding with him until the end this year I guess.Sprong recalled
Unless he's being showcased for trade?Interesting. So we are riding with him until the end this year I guess.
More likely sleep deprived. The only person who could sit for him is Terry and he’s picked up his game of late. Jones too but he plays on the opposite side.
Hopefully nobody is injured. Silfverberg has looked off since coming back, I wonder if he’s still hurt?
I think I read somewhere (and saw), that Terry was not playing the last 5 mins in the last game. He went to greet Miller after the game tho, so it might not be an injury.
Edit: it``s true. NHL.com Stats
Everyone else played at least a bit after him.

What are we talking about here?Really weird timing with four wins in five games. Who is coming out? They won't sit him with the waiver stuff, that wouldn't make any sense.

Calling up sprong. Don't really get it.What are we talking about here?
