Gonchar plays on the right side so I'd say the person who wrote this has it wrong.

Completing a sweep of three beauty draft picks since 2012 #3 OV Galchenyuk, 2013 25th OV McCarron and 26th OV in 2014 Scherbak. Can the Habs do better, perhaps they have another 1st round pick this year, so I'm betting a 4th pick in 4 yrs. that will be another beauty!:handclap::handclap::handclap::handclap:

Galchenyuk centering Pacioretty and Gallagher. We finally have our #1 center ladies and gents.

What's the chances these lines actually stick though. Probably not great.

Galchenyuk has to take faceoffs drills and learn how to win face offs very fast. Because he won't last long on that 1st line. The guy has defensive weakenesses that are gonna be more exposed as a centerman. If you think DD is awful defence wise, watch Galchy !

Plekanec and Patches are the ones who should play together and take charge. let Galchy center a 2nd or 3rd line for the time being.

Chuck isn't good defensively, but Desharnais often doesn't even make it to the defensive zone.

Hopefully having Malholtra on the team teaches Galchenyuk a few things about face offs, Alex won't last long if he continues with 35% faceoff winning.

Galchenyuk better not **** this up.

Please let it be the end of DD.

1-Malhotra sucks. 0 points in 29 games and a minus player. If he was any good he would not have signed for close to league minimum on the 1st minute of free agency.

2-Forsberg = 33.3 FO. 25pts in 26 games...+21.

Totally expendable...
DD may have a chance on 4 when Eller gets back...

Galchenyuk's line sparked lots of chances yesterday. I think it would be wise for Therrien to stick with Pacioretty-Galchenyuk-Gallagher.

He was impressive last night, he was all over the ice, back checked hard, neutralized the Sedins... could have had a couple of points with a little more luck.

Not yet a two-way center, but what we saw last night might be the start of something very promising and exciting.

Honestly, we haven't had a big center like Galchenyuk since maybe Vincent Damphousse. Finally we can physically match up with other team's top players. Also those dekes were amazing.

The kid is good, however still quite tentative in his zone when playing as a center. (As a winger he is fine.) He seems to be waiting for team member to direct him a little bit. All-in-all normal, we just need to give some time.(1 season)

Why do some people not understand that Galchenyuk's faceoff numbers were so low because of small sample size? His numbers should keep going up as long as he plays center for an extended amount of time.

Hard to see him not getting points after all the buzz his line generated last night. In time that will come as well so long as they keep generating chances.
