This PP shot chart from yesterday gives a good picture of why we are failing so hard. The obvious being no Stamkos on his side. We should get Point back in the bumper position and load someone who can either pass behind the net or hold the left side boards. Re adjust the PP1 (Taking into account Coop Logic)
Maroon - Point - Kucherov
Gourde - Sergachev
The logic is Maroon can play and get the puck to either side from behind the net and also pull in some defenders out of position. The idea is either Boston gets drawn to him or they leave him alone which isn't bad either way. Gourde can hound the puck with Point and rotate into the bumper with Point, and is fast enough to cover the inevitable Kuch blind pass and break out by Marchand and Bergeron.
Second PP can end up being:
Johnson/Killorn - Cirelli - Coleman
Hedman - Shattenkirk
Meh, let it rock. Put in whoever on PP2 that is playing well at the time.
