It seems like there is a disconnect between the two, which is troubling. Our best forward, by a mile, and our coach should be on the same page.

The problem is there are not many more options at this point.

they have been pretty bad all year. Even the WPG game they weren’t great. They just scored goals. Our Def looks terrible. Mayfield, Toews, pullock have all been horrible. And our forwards look slow and and unskilled.

Might be a move coming. Can’t accept these efforts.

A good GM will act to improve team. I could see this team treading water until December, at that point, they are probably out of it. Further, Lou has got to be creative, even if that means parting w talent. Have to consider trading Bailey, Ebs, even Lee; also Toews or Pulock (in the right deal). Teams want talent. Or a top-10 protected first rounder.

Trotz I trust more than Lou, he’ll get this team in order. But there’s only so much he can do w a deficiently skilled team.

Trotz is not coaching them to play like this. We know what his system is supposed to look like and we just have not executed at all, especially on defense. Its early in the year, but this is like a bad hangover from the series last year creeping into our game now. Trotz fixed the slow start last year, but man is this ugly.

Gotta think he puts some guys on blast after this.
