This is literally what they got in Lindholm though... and then they got him.

Not saying our defense can't be upgraded, but don't see the need to invest in LD two deadlines in a row. Short and long term, I know some may disagree, but LD is one of the positions we actually have depth on.

You get the most out of McAvoy and Lindholm when they're each anchoring a pair. When they were together they tried Grzelcyk with Carlo and he still got his shit pushed in by Carolina. This is about having the flexibility to move Grzelcyk out of the top 4 when the matchup is not favorable to him.

It only make sense to put players in a position to succeed, no problem moving Griz up and down based on the opponent

Hip looked fine other nite watching him dart up ice and score on 2 on 1.That said I would rather heavier type additions.
