Stroud and Love make it real hard to not take a QB with a top 3 pack even with all the previous busts
I get the terrible feeling that the Kraft's want Mac to be the starter next year. One of the few personnel decision Bill got right these last two seasons was wanting to move on from Mac after last season and they didn't let him, now he's a depreciated asset who's worth less than he was a year ago. Mac's lack of development being one of the big reasons they fired Belichick and the rumors of them wanting McDaniels back, the only oc he hasn't looked like trash with just adds to that.FWIW...
How Bill Belichick's mishandling of Mac Jones, offense, led to demise with Patriots
Belichick's inability to develop Jones and build a competent offense around him cost him his job in New England.theathletic.com

Yep. And he had a TON of pressure on his shoulders this season, and basically a bunch or rookies and second year guys to throw to. He’s been incredible the second half of the season. They got no shot at a Super Bowl this year, but the future is very bright in GB.Love was selected #26 overall.....3yrs ago. GB had him sitting in the sideline learning, just like they did with AR.
Start ordering his hoodie sleeves to be cutBelichick may as well start pricing houses in Dallas
Meh.Draft MHJR at 3, trade up to end of 1st and pick Penix or McCarthy

I think I prefer Nix at QB over those two.Draft MHJR at 3, trade up to end of 1st and pick Penix or McCarthy

He had a GM put his nuts on the line, drafting him and basically had this year to prove whether GB should extend him or be a career backup….I don't know that he had a TON of pressure. This season was expected to be a down year for the Packers (for all the reasons you listed).

They gotta take MHJR if he's there. Patriots haven't had a legitimate weapon at WR in a long time. No use taking a QB high if he isn't going to have anyone to throw to.Draft MHJR at 3, trade up to end of 1st and pick Penix or McCarthy
