Moncton didn't look much better last night, not a hope in hell of them coming back in this series!
Especially if they continue to be without three defencmen.

That game was really wide open, which makes me think anything can happen tomorrow. Defense was really sloppy for both teams, but it was fun to watch. Both teams looked strong offensively.Western with a big 5-2 win over Ryerson, back to TO for the rubber match.
Other than UNB, USask has been the best team in the country, since the break.Saskatchewan is though to the Canada West finals and another appearance at the Nationals.
Ottawa deserved to advance. They have some size up front and on the back end.Gee-Gee's with a well deserved 4-2 win. Final SOG 49-25. Awesome to see the change in power (at least in the playoffs) in the OUA East this year.
AUS semi-finals:
It's looking like SMU and Moncton are destined to play an extra series, after Acadia's win last night over the Huskies, in Wolfville. I can't see the Huskies beating the Axemen 3 straight.
I watched most of this game and can say that the Huskies were on the wrong side of multiple calls, especially in the first period.
They've already announced a whole bunch of recruitsApparently the Gee-Gees have 18 players slated to graduate this year. Some might stick around for a 5th year but regardless they are going to need to have a big recruiting drive.
With Western's game 3 OT win over Ryerson, the curse of 20 wins continues in the OUA West: 16 of the last 19 teams to win 20 regular season games have failed to win the division title and represent the west in the Queen's Cup game.
That includes two 20-win teams this year (U of T and Ryerson), and this is Ryerson's third 20-win season since 2016-17, all without a Queen's Cup appearance.
UBC 2-1 over Alberta and a series win. This is a stunner!!!
