JVR is what he is and isn’t what he’s not. He is not a speedy player; not the greatest on the boards or a slick passer but he is a scorer around the net, especially on the PP. That Therrien didn’t recognize that and utilize him was silly. Right now for a full season you can pencil him in for 25 and 25.
If he was a FA, he’d get between five and six million on a three year deal. There are teams that would be glad to have that. It’s just that here I’m Philly, people want more than that from him. If the Flyers don’t move him this off season, Seattle will take him next spring.
