Would be nice to do something around Kuemper for Andersen and one of Kerfoot, Engvall, or Mikheyev

Chicago has 13.5m in space with Seabrook expected to miss the year.

Any way to send Goligoski and/or Raanta there? I just want Kampf. Carpenter would be okay instead. Nothing is also acceptable.

Let's them get Mikheyev and Korshkov into the lineup cheap, upgrades their RHD and goaltending Should be roughly cap neutral I haven't looked at it.

Also worth a look. They've got Suter and Kurashev pushing for a spot. Those other guys would be cheap.
Wonder what the cost is to rent Saad. I'd love to see him lined up across from a Keller or Garland or Schmaltz.

Leafs don't need Demers. Holl is basically the same impact wise for cheaper. They just need to pay or convince some sucker to take Johnsson.

You think they're going to break in Sandin AND Lilegren at the same time?

Reilly - Brodie
Muzzin - Holl

Is a strong top 4. They have been using Dermott paired with whomever on the 3rd pair to beat up on the easy competition Stecher style. I don't see a need for Demers at his price tag at all.

Not a lot of options based on the above chart. I thought maybe Detroit would take Fleury. Maybe we could be the dumping ground for that.

MAF with serious retention plus picks/prospects for Raanta?

Teams must be really struggling with finances. Don't see too many luxurious tandems on that list.

Boston
Vegas
Arizona

May have the best tandems in the league.

Christ. Howard had 2 wins last year. Two. In 27 games. I know he was on the Red Wings but still.

Ken Holland seems to have attended the Don Maloney School of No Fresh Ideas.

I’m sure that will not result in McDavid asking out.
They truly don’t deserve him. They’ve never stopped making their entire focus about picks and prospects while signing only the leftover sludge on the UFA market that will actually have anything to do with Edmonton. It’s an abomination. If they’d focus on acquire real assets that can actually support McDavid today and not three or four years from today, they’d win a bunch of games and stop being on every player in the league’s no-go list.

Instead of Kuemper, they have Holloway and Howard. How in the f*** does that help McDavid. He’s ready, right now, today, to win three Cups in a row. Instead he’s watching his idiot team hoard picks and sign crap UFAs. It’s pathetic.

Edmonton in talks with Howard. That was the prime place to dump Raanta. haha
I think Koskinen is okay as a starter. And the way goalies go, he could have a few top 5 or top 10 seasons in him. Edmonton is rough on gooseberry tenders(hahahaha autocorrect, but I'm leaving it!) .
The fact you have actual upgrades out there in Keumper and Raanta, (one would have cost Holloway for two years, and one is probably ready to be given away or could be had with retention as an excellent guy for a tandem) and you're talking to Jimmy Freaking Howard is a joke. You have McDrai. You are supposed to be a playoff team. You have one appearance in six years since adding those guys. WTF are you doing? You sign Howard if you're Detroit or Ottawa and have zero expectations. Even those teams went a different direction.

Carolina and Buffalo should be breaking down our door for Kuemper.

Carolina is a Cup contender with Kuemper. Buffalo can save Eichel with Kuemper.

I thought, worst case scenario, the Oilers would tread water with Holland. But overall there was a decent chance he could make them legitimate.

Appears there is now a chance that he could actively make them worse.

I think I'd just as soon re-sign Smith than bring in Howard.
