LOLOLOLOL, never change Mike, never change

His hatred for the Jets always perplexed me.

Since the 90's he'd prefer to brag about being a degenerate gambler and horses than give the Jets any credit.

Did Ken O'Brien rail his wife at a kars 4 kids fundraiser or something?

Thank god that f***ing tool is out of here. Can't stand him anymore. He was insufferable ever since he began to call himself president. Dude has such a giant ego it is unreal. Can't wait to watch Perine carry his ass 20 yards again like he did in college.

Douglas is a beast, can't wait til he ousts Gase this off-season and gets a real coach for this team.

Jets now have the worst roster in the league IMO

but that was a hell of a trade. Adams is a good player but safeties arent worth that compensation in today's NFL

Good riddance, it would have been nice if he didn't push it this way in the end but can't argue with getting two 1sts and a 3rd, and not from one of Douglas's publicly preferred teams either.

May I just reiterate how much of a FLEECING this was of Seattle by Joe D?:bow::bow:

I don't give two s--ts how "Good" Adams is.

When you can come away with not just a 1st and a 3rd for next season(2021) BUT ANOTHER 1ST for the following season (2022), that is just pure robbery that Joe just committed. :D

(yeah I know we go McDougald the Safety; hope he's not like Dexter McDougle as their last names are too similar)

You have to start somewhere. Football is more like basketball than hockey. A rebuild doesn’t take forever. You can remake a football team in about three years with good drafting. You need a QB a pass rusher a receiver a kicker and at least be solid across the o-line and if you can’t rush the passer that well at least stop the run. With good coaching and buy in you can be pretty good or better. Look at NO and NE rosters over the last few years. Not that many big names but everyone knows their role and does it without too much fuss. Jets should see about getting rid of any malcontents and seeing if they can get any extra picks. If they think the QB is the real deal get him a good QB coach and start drafting linemen on both sides of the ball. You can find runners in college free agency or low draft rounds. Same for a good kicker and punter. You can also find TE and secondary receivers in low rounds and college free agency. This is doable for the Jets if they go about it the right way. Best of luck. I’d like to see the Jets have some success.

What does suck is that one of the firsts and third we got are for next year when the draft is going to be so up in the air with colleges likely either not playing or playing reduced schedules.

You can look at it in a positive and think that the Jets may get a steal in the draft where normally you would expect it to be a 25th overall or higher pick.

Pac-12 as well

NFL should just have a few games every day from Thursday-Sunday every week
No bubble, no league. MLB is a millisecond away from canceling and they have half the roster and staff the NFL does.

Couple that with being right in eachother's face during every single play and I don't see how it's possible.

watch them do a 12 game schedule (or whatever) instead to try and fit in some sort of season

and then watch it all go to shit and get shutdown quicker than each iteration of the XFL

That seems pretty on brand actually.

I was really confused as to why MLB didn't choose NYC as it's bubble. 5 viable stadiums and one of the lowest rates of new infections. Nightlife is shutdown as is most dining, so no concern about that.

I don't have a good idea for an NFL bubble. Maybe SoCal? So many guys though. We're talking thousands, not the maybe 1k for the NHL and fewer for the NBA.

the nhl and nba have their bubbles for the purpose of playoffs and championship ……mlb couldnt do a 60 game regular season with that many teams in one place even if there are 5 stadiums…….i cant picture it happening

Guys go to rehab for 90 days. Picking up a few million while hopefully attaining glory seems plausible.

But hubris in its many forms can be a motherf***er I suppose.

Well they COULD do a few different bubbles regionally (at least three - NY, Texas or Chicago and CA) but the MLB players want their freedom to do stupid shit like these two Indians pitchers or the clowns on the Cardinals and Marlins.

what the NFL should do is 4 bubbles, 8 teams each. Top 2 from each bubble go to the playoff bubble.

You could do at colleges since students won't be there anyways.

won't happen, but an idea
