Any underrated kids at the OHL cup you think could surprise. Examples from last year for me would be Svedberg(I think that was his name Toronto JR C), diaca, wong(marlies), Hunt on red wings etc. CollinsYSE

21 - from Petes. If that is the compensatory 2nd, it is a pick at the end of 2nd round I believe.
Three picks before any team gets a 2nd ... fun draft for Petes fans

OKAY FOLKS LETS PLAY GM

Please share your opinion on Top 10 Forwards, Top 10 Dman, Top 5 Goalies - do not include Shane Wright.
BUT list must contain players who will report to an OHL team and can play as 1st yr player next season in the OHL

I have watched this age group for past 2 seasons and will give my recap after reading a few of what will be suggested. Note my players may not contain players who are on top teams and have great showcase abilities when playing on teams with depth.

Lets have some fun please - very interested

Paul Christopoulos should be ranked higher. The defenceman

Interesting to see Laszlo on there. I happen to agree with you on him, but haven’t seen him on any of PP’s lists or other Alliance ranked players. Seems to be flying under the radar.

Each year, I always set aside 1 day to attend some OHL Cup games. This will be the second year iirc that no Ottawa area teams are participating. So disappointing. HEO is a disgrace. They shouldn’t be allowed to impose their CCHL/NCAA agenda on the kids like this.

What can you tell about Sirizzotti ???, EHF Power Forward, Shooter ?
Sirizzotti is a tireless skater with a fantastic work-ethic and nose for the net. He consistently drove the Whitby Wildcats' offence this season owing to his high-end speed, agility, and puck-handling skills. Although he is a stellar playmaker and pass-first player, Sirizzotti netted 32 goals in 36 regular season contests in 2018-19. In short, a well-round and highly energetic player who can contribute to his team's success at both ends of the ice. With his skating ability and raw offensive traits, he should have little trouble adapting to the OHL-level.

2019 OHL Cup Ranking:

Hey folks. With the 2019 OHL Cup set to get started tomorrow, we wanted to take a moment to post our final OHL Cup ranking of the 2018-19 season. Although the majority of the top-10 remains, Team NOHA and Detroit Compuware make their debut in our most recent ranking and both stand as legitimate contenders for the Cup. Previously, both teams had remained unranked due to the difficulty of evaluating teams put together strictly for tournaments in comparison to squads unchanged from league play.

Enjoy the tournament!

Is Compuware sending a team of their best 03's? Like they did at the Silver Stick? Based on that write-up it looks as if it will be the same group (mostly 03's from the U16 and some good ones from the 15-only team). Will be interested to see if two of the 04's that played at Silver Stick are on the OHL Cup team again.

I will hazard at selecting 5 goalies with strong upward potential, which is always difficult but more so this year.
Given what I’ve seen and in speaking with others, here goes (no specific order):
Max Donoso (Windsor)
Steven Selvaggi (Richmond Hill)
Ben Gaudreau (NOHA)
Sebastian Resar (Whitby)
Mateo Dorbac (Halton Hills)
