Talking about heights...Zhuravlyov is reported as 6'0 on CapFriendly and HockeyDb but during this tournament he certainly looks a lot taller. He looks like he is 6'2 or something like that.

Another prospect having a really nice D+1 season for us.... Sasha Mutala.

He just eclipsed his point total for all of last year(41 points in 65 games last season), only he just did it in game 35 for him. 12 Goals, 30 assists for 42 points in 35 games now. 15th in league scoring.

Perhaps the most impressive thing though, is the team he plays for, Tri-City... They are really awful. They've only scored 95 goals this year, so Mutala's 42 points would mean he's played a role in almost 50% of all goals his team has scored.

WHL trade deadline is 5 days away. Anyone figure Byram gets traded to a Mem cup contender?

Ya, I was ecstatic when we drafted him because he dealt with a lot of personal issues the previous year. He is their offense, it's not like Tri-City has one line that produces all the points, the two players after him have 25 and 19 points.

Giants are comfortably in a playoff spot - not to them being amazing, but due to Prince George being terrible - so it would be a bit surprising to see him traded.

Shane Bowers has 8 points (2 goals, 6 assists) over his last 8 games and 13 points in his last 16 games after going pointless in his first 7 games. Kaut on the other hand has been much of the same with 4 points in 17 games.

I must have missed this. Timmins has already been out since early December.

I also wanted Veleno, but issues with skating. He seems to be another Jost.

Also liked Kupari and Miller, but still have some faith in Kaut. Don't believe the pick is terrible, maybe he needs a better C? Maybe send Jost down to play together.

Button has been a big fan of Byram back to early 2019. He seemingly is not as big of a fan of Newhook. I recall that he was emphatic that the Avs should pick Krebs at 16 when it was their time at the podium.

Personally, I view Newhook as underrated. We'll see how it turns out.

It is nice to see Annunen getting some love.
