He can't really pass.
I haven't noticed that being the case.
He can't really pass.
I can't recall so many injuries to key personal. I know Raanta has never played a starters role, but he has only played 12 games and I think he was pulled in two of those because of injuries, so his injuries is not work load related, rather I think it's the way he plays the position because of his size. Like you said, he may never play a starters role. Man, I hope you are wrong here. When Raanta returns he will be our #1 no matter who is or how hot they are playing. Like RT said "we have to get Raanta playing". He is our only hope if we want to make the playoffs.Agreed in juries are adding up. We need to survive this stretch, but I thought we were in the last 2 games against good teams, so not too bad. As for Raanta, he has never played a starters load for various reasons and might never. This is why Chayka was smart with the term and dollars, he is unproven. we are fortunate Hill and Keumper have played as well as they have in spurts. Hot hand should play and that includes Raanta if and when he returns.
When he skates with the puck he has time to pass and he is fine, but when he is pressured he can't make a pass if his life depended on it. It's either icing, or passes it to the opposition.I haven't noticed that being the case.
I see you have decided to give the legal weed a try hey Mosby.Let's live in fantasy land for a minute here.
New ownership comes in and makes us a cap team. The cap goes to 83 mil, and we hit Matthews with a max offer sheet (20%).
Galchenyuk (4.9) - Matthews (16.6) - Keller (.886)
Grabner (3.35) - Schmaltz (5.75) - Fischer (.822)
Crouse (2.0) - Dvorak (4.45) - Hinostroza (1.5)
Bunting (.750) - Richardson (1.25) - Garland (.725)
Dauphin (.825)
OEL (8.25) - Trouba (6.5)
Chychrun (4.6) - Hammer (5.0)
KConn (1.375) - Demers (3.94)
Oesterle (.850)
Raanta (4.25)
Kuemper (1.85)
Ribeiro buyout (1.94)
Total = 82.365
Aside from the max deal for AM, the other moves:
- Stepan + Merkley + ?? for the RFA rights to Trouba
- Goligoski to any team that misses on a top D in UFA. This has to be cap dump, i.e., picks.

lol we're still paying Ribero 2mil
They won't have any leverage this summer cuz he'll be a year away from UFA. The trade market for him will competitive anyways.Yeah that's a tough one to gauge. I know the Peg needs a 2C (Stepan). How much leverage do they have if Trouba refuses to sign again?
Little is at worst as good as Stepan and over a million cheaper for a team that has some decisions to make with regards to Cap.Yeah that's a tough one to gauge. I know the Peg needs a 2C (Stepan). How much leverage do they have if Trouba refuses to sign again?
This year and next.....

Ah no.Little is not close to Stepan at all. Little defensively is terrible. His production is lower points wise and is one demensional offensive.
Safe to say you were a Little disappointed.I wanted Little instead of Mueller at the draft. Little was my guy.
Little defensively is terrible.
I still dont get why the NHL did not allow them to void his contract. The next team was allowed to.What a disaster that was
He’s been great defensively since he was 15 years old. He’s basically what we can hope for from Barrett Hayton.Where'd you get that idea? He's great defensively.
He's spent a lot of time covering Laine's defensive problems the last couple years.
I'd currently give the edge to Stepan if I was comparing them. Stepan is in his 9th season and Little in his 12th so there's a lot more wear and tear on him.
He’s a total lunatic who’s completely unemployable under any circumstance. Seems like enough reason.I still dont get why the NHL did not allow them to void his contract. The next team was allowed to.
